Our Mission
As the Marina and Yacht Management Program, our mission is to be a pioneering educational program that trains the qualified human resources needed by the maritime and marine tourism sectors at both national and international levels, establishes strong industry collaborations, and adopts a practice-oriented educational approach. Our fundamental mission is to contribute to the development of our country's marine tourism potential by producing graduates equipped to work in marinas, yacht harbors, yacht management firms, yacht charter and brokerage companies, shipyards, cruise ports, marine tourism enterprises, and all related maritime organizations; and to be an exemplary program recognized for its scientific approach, commitment to quality, and modern educational model.
Our Vision
As the Marina and Yacht Management Program, our vision is to be a respected educational program that is preferred at national and international levels in the fields of maritime and marine tourism; adapts to the sector's changing needs; trains qualified human resources through a practice-oriented educational approach; and prioritizes scientific and professional development. Our program aims to cultivate professionals who have embraced maritime culture, possess a strong awareness of environmental sustainability, adhere to professional ethical values, think analytically, possess advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, use foreign languages effectively, and are proficient in digital technologies. We aim for our students to graduate as individuals possessing the knowledge and competencies to successfully manage administration, operations, and service processes in marina enterprises, yacht harbors, yacht management and charter firms, brokerage companies, shipyards, cruise ports, marine tourism businesses, and other related maritime organizations. In line with our educational philosophy grounded in strong industry-university collaborations, our fundamental vision is to be an exemplary program—recognized for its educational quality and graduate success—that cultivates future leaders who integrate theoretical knowledge with practice, champion innovative approaches, embrace lifelong learning, and contribute to the sustainable development of our country’s maritime tourism.
